About Me
A masters degree in church music, experience as a singer, professional stage actor and voice teacher have all prepared me to do what I love most: telling stories that need to be told.
My singing and acting career includes performances with Chicago's professional Grant Park Symphony Chorus, stage acting in musicals, comedies, dramas, and Shakespeare at various professional theaters throughout the Chicagoland area as well as screen acting in independent films and voice acting projects.
With a voice described as rich, dark and musical, a playful spirit and the ability to breathe emotional life and heart into characters, my voice is a natural fit for fantasy, cozy mystery and the classics. A Detroit native and the daughter of a factory worker, my clear and concise articulation, sarcastic humor and comic flare makes me equally at home characterizing gritty, hardened FBI agents, villains and colorful creatures. As a believer in Christ, I lend an authenticity and sincerity to non-fiction Christian writing as well as Christian fiction.

I am a roller coaster enthusiast, have performed a double trapeze act and survived both cancer and raising two daughters.
